👨🏼‍🌾 Red wine made by Domaine Richaud.

A red cuvée full of frankness and fruit, crunching with cherry and raspberry with disarming freshness. The Grenache brings a sunny indulgence, while the subtly spiced Carignan structures the whole without heaviness. On the palate, the juice is clean, fluid, and refreshing, with just the right amount of tension to naturally carry it to the table. A young, accessible wine, but never ordinary.

Domaine Richaud, founded by Marcel Richaud in 1974, embodies a bold vision of the Côtes du Rhône. From the age of 20, Marcel affirmed his conviction to create a living wine, breaking with the winemaking norms of the time. A pioneer in his practices, he left the Cairanne cooperative cellar to create his own wine, free from the rules and dogmas of his time.
Marcel expanded his land with the desire to pass on a human-sized farm, offering his children the possibility of choice to develop the estate. All the vines are pruned in goblet form, each harvest is carried out by hand, and the soil is worked mechanically, promoting the health and resistance of the plants.
His son Thomas, converted to the profession in 2009 thanks to the passion shared with Marcel, is responsible for the work in the vineyards and the winemaking, perpetuating the know-how and sensitivity transmitted by his father. The winemaking takes place grape variety by grape variety and by terroir profile, without inputs or filtration. The meticulous blends aim to create authentic and balanced vintage wines, faithful to the identity of the estate.
Domaine Richaud wines are recognized for their purity, finesse, and emotion, finding their place on tables around the world. The estate team, considered essential, actively participates in the work in the cellar and in the vineyards, embodying the harmony and positive energy between men and nature.
The construction of a new cellar in 1998 demonstrates the respect for the link between the land and the wine, using only stone to create an underground space covered with pebbles. Majestic ovoid casks, muids and demi-muids keep the wines at rest, sometimes for up to two years. The cellar, spacious, bright and warm, reflects the image of the estate, with a central fireplace and a panoramic view.

Who are we ?

Created in 2010, Vinograf was taken over in July 2024 by Clara & Baptiste. With their experience with Marée Haute, they work to perpetuate Vinograf's strong commitments: a careful selection of established or novice artisan winemakers, all driven by the concern for excellence in their practices, in the magnification of terroirs and the search for authenticity of taste.

Several specifications correspond to these names. If we very often hear about sulphites, rightly accused of giving a headache, many other products can be used in the composition of so-called conventional wines.
Here is an overview of the different organic, biodynamic and natural specifications:
The organic specifications (AB label) prohibit any use of synthetic chemicals in the vineyards and in the winery. However, it allows some oenological crutches during winemaking. Sulfites, for example, are tolerated up to 100 mg/L for red wines and 150 mg/L for whites.

In biodynamics (Demeter or Biodyvin label), the winemaker not only works without synthetic chemicals, but also takes into account the lunar calendar for all the operations he carries out. He will also use biodynamic preparations (fermented horn dung, silica, plant herbal tea, etc.) to strengthen the vines. Overall, the winegrower seeks to include the cultivation of the vine in a global environment. Sulphites can go up to 70 mg/L for reds and 90 mg/L for whites.

In natural wine (Vin Method Nature label), the specifications specify the use of organic grapes, fermenting naturally using native yeasts (as in biodynamics). Natural wines see no input during all vinification and aging. Only minimum doses of SO2 are permitted (30 mg/L maximum), and must be mentioned by the winemaker. No brutal filtration or wine alteration techniques are permitted. We also find the name SAINS Wines which aims to completely prohibit the use of sulphites.

We strive to offer you wines from artisan wines, from estates on a human scale and often family-owned. And that's why we take the time to travel across France from vineyard to vineyard in search of these natural wines that thrill us.
We are particularly keen to introduce you to the new winegrowers of tomorrow who work tirelessly to offer us magnificent wines.
We want to highlight them, and allow them to have greater, clearer visibility and wish to accompany them to you!
